MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING BERBANTUAN MEDIA WAYANG KERTAS PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN MEKAR RAYA

Pancasila education in elementary schools is an important subject that influences the formation of students' character. Currently, there are many
approaches and media that can be used to teach Pancasila Education, such as role-playing, discussions, and visual media. However, lecture
methods and reading texts remain the main media for most teachers. Role playing is one of many approaches that can be used to improve
student understanding. This research focuses on the use of the role playing learning model assisted by paper puppet media as a teaching method
to improve student learning outcomes. This study involved 24 students in class IV of SDN Mekar Raya, who were divided into 6 groups. The test
is carried out with questions. This study was conducted over three meetings and used a qualitative and quantitative research approach with the
type of Classroom Action research. The results showed that the percentage of student activation at the first meeting of cycle I reached 50%, the
percentage of student activation at the second meeting reached 58%, and the percentage of student learning outcomes at the first meeting of
cycle I reached 70%, and the percentage of student learning outcomes at the third meeting reached 70% . Based on these average results, it
can be stated that the application of the role playing learning model assisted by paper puppet media is effective in improving Pancasila Education
learning outcomes for class IV students.
